Crumpet

Breakfast at Crumpet.
Well what can I say?  It has to be one of the best breakfasts around.

It isn't your standard bacon and eggs type place, the menu has so many delicious options.

I went for the Vegiefull which consisted off poached egg and spinach on toast with brie.  Spicy beans, mushrooms (7 good sized) and avocado on the side.  Very yummy, though the beans seemed weird for breakfast.
My brother had his favourite Huevos Rancheros.  Toasted tortilla topped with cheese, spicy beans, fried eggs and guacamole.  I introduced him to Crumpet a couple of months ago and he has been back every week since.

I hear the home made crumpets are to die for but I always want something a bit more substantial.  Maybe morning tea one day...  Speaking of substantial, I didn't need to eat again until dinner time!

Footnote: And who should walk in, as we left?  Ben Wyatt, the local member for Vic Park.

Had a great brunch at the ZEKKA Cafe in Perth this week. It's a nice little haven just off King Street. Hopefully we will see cool use of spaces like this in Vic Park one day. They had this really interesting slow coffee dripper on the go. Apparently it takes hours but gives the best coffee you can get. Check it out on their page.

A ping test

Little Ying Thai

I had a great take-away from the new Little Ying Thai earlier this week - jungle curry (very hot), green vegetable curry and pork with ginger.

It was the best Thai food I have had in ages. They are sandwiched between EVP Dome and Swingers and have nice little dine in area.

I recommend you check them out, you won't be disappointed :)
